
Greta Segert is a dedicated Junior at Purdue University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in User Experience (UX) Design, complemented by minors in Psychology and Communication. Her passion for UX design is deeply rooted in her desire to create user-centered experiences that foster meaningful and empathetic connections. Greta is particularly focused on understanding the psychological aspects of design, which allows her to approach challenges with a holistic perspective that considers both the user's needs and emotions.
Collaboration is at the core of Greta’s design philosophy. She thrives in team environments where diverse perspectives are valued, believing that every team member’s contribution is crucial to achieving the best outcome. Her commitment to inclusivity ensures that all voices are heard, fostering a creative and supportive atmosphere where innovation can flourish.
Outside of the classroom, Greta brings the same level of dedication and teamwork to her role on the Purdue Coed Cheerleading team. Her high school cheerleading career was marked by remarkable achievements, including two state championships and a national title at UCA Nationals during her senior year. These accomplishments are a testament to her perseverance, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to excellence, qualities that she consistently brings to both her academic and extracurricular pursuits. Greta’s determination and passion for seeing things through to the end, combined with her empathetic approach to design, position her as a promising future leader in the field of UX design.
